We are delighted to share that our first PV-powered electro-chlorinator prototype has arrived at the offices of our partner FundiFix in Kenya. Developed in collaboration with our parent company Thermofluidics, the Direct Contact Chlorinator treats water directly as it comes out of the ground.
By passing a carefully-controlled electric current through the water as it flows, we can treat groundwater containing 13ppm or more of chloride without adding any chlorine chemicals or salt. Watch this space for updates from the field.
